How to import Wordpress data file into ModX?

I'm working in Revo 2.5.7-pl. I have a series of blogs that I want to move from wordpress into Modx and have everything in the same platform.

What is the best way to import post/page data?

I've already tried using "Articles" but (unless I did something wrong) when I installed the Add-on, my entire site stopped working properly and I had to reset my database to an earlier version.

Wordpress lets you export data. And you can also use the new REST API. So then you could build a little translation plugin to convert the data and create the resources.

Anyway, I'm unsure if someone has already coded such a thing, but totally possible.
