My site is hosted by netfirms.com and their severs php.ini file is configued with register_globals set to ON. In order to create a custom php.ini file with register_globals set to OFF I need to have a copy of my custom php.ini file in every directory containing files that require register_globals to be set to OFF.I created a php.ini file that contains only the line necessary to change register_globals. By placing this file in the manager directory I manage to fix my configuration issue, but all somehow manage to prevent access to the manager. The manager users that are redirected when they login get to their redirect page, but the admin users get stuck in a loop on the manager login page never accessing the manager.
