Answered Locked out of manager

I am locked out of manager on 2.5.7. Other installs on the same shared hosting account can log in. The update to 2.5.7 was done in the past with logging in working until today.

I have done the following things:

• Tried other browsers (even clearing cache)
• Deleted all files in core/cache
• set session_cache_secure to 0
• backed up install and moved to different location (did not work there either)
• renamed .htaccess
• User is not blocked, reset password

I have shared hosting on Stablehost and installed modx via Softaculous

Any other suggestions?

Try repairing all tables in the DB.

Is it possible that Softaculous did an automatic update?

Thanks, but the repair all db tables did not resolve the issue. I forgot to mention I, had repaired the cached sessions table.

I updated the site to 2.5.7 a while back, since there have not been any new updates I do not believe it was updated by softaculous.

I recall reading a thread on this from a long time ago for earlier versions where doing an update with the same version resolved the issue. I am unsure if this is wise since that was for a fresh install and earlier version.

An update to the same version worked, I can login to manager.
