    Hello,

When i click in the manager on components i see a list with addons like gallery quip, etc. If i select one of the addons i see a blank page. I know this has to do with Javascript.

    F12:
    GET http://webserver.nl/assets/components/quip/js/sections/home.js 404 (Not Found)
?a=80:63 Uncaught ReferenceError: Quip is not defined
    at ?a=80:63
    at ext-all.js:21
    at b (ext-all.js:21)

The javascript files of the different components exist in the assets/components directory.

The strange thing is when i do a new installation and install an addon. I see it in the manager and can also so use it. For example i can make gallery albums etc.

Is there somebody that can tell me what i am doing wrong?

The real problem is that the file is not being found. That's what's causing the JavaScript issues.

First, make sure that specific file is where it should be (assets/components/quip/js/sections/home.js). If it is, check the permissions and ownership of the file and the directories above it.

        - the file home.js exist.
        - the owner and group are www-data:www-data
        - permissions directories are 755
        - permissions files are 644

i don't know what it is.

I'm not an expert on file ownership, but I think on many servers a common ownership setting is apache:apache or nobody:nobody.

If you haven't already, look at the ownership of other /assets files that MODX is reading successfully.

Also, make sure you're not restricting access to that file or directory with a Media Source permission setting.
