I'm trying to install a ModX Revolution on a new hosting. The hosting is by GoDaddy (a windows server with a Plesk panel). I uploaded the modx installation files - setup and core folders, into the httpdocs directory and gave the core folder a needed permission. Now, when i'm entering to the: 'mysitename.net/setup' I'm getting the modx installation menu with language selection as it should be. But when i'm hitting the 'select' button after choosing any language, the page redirecting to the 'mysitename.net/setup/?' = 500 Internal Server Error. Maybe some body have an idea what am i doing wrong and how to fix this issue?

You are
not alone. There is a very long history of people having trouble with MODX on GoDaddy.
Some have managed to make it work. Some have not. I wish I had more specific advice for you.

I have found a solution
Modify the open_basedir settings in your hosting account and set them to none. Find the open_basedir setting given under 'PHP Settings' area of your Plesk/cPanel. Set it to 'none' from the dropdown given there. I have shown them in the Plesk panel picture.
