SEO Tab - migration not finishing

    Hi there,

    I need to update all my sites to use SEO Tab 2.0 - which requires a migration to take place, due to the data being moved to its own table in the database.

    I have started on a small, non-critical site, to see if it causes any issues - but currently the status page says:

    Currently running migration process in the background. Please keep this page open in your browser. DO NOT CLOSE THIS PAGE!


    The site only has 20 resources, and each resource has one 301 redirect - so I didn't expect it to take long.

    It's been on this page for about 30mins now - but it doesn't look like anything is happening.

    Before I tackle the larger sites (with 1000+ resources) I want to know if there's anything I should be doing to allow this to migrate successfully.

    The docs say it takes a long time if there are a lot of resources, but the current site is so small, I can't see why it would take so long.

      UPDATE: I have just opened the Dashboard in another window (without closing the migration window) and it seems as though the process is complete - I can see the SEO Tab in the Extras menu, and it has a number of SEO redirects in there - so I'm assuming it's complete - but just worried that on larger sites I won;t know when it's safe to close this window.

      Any advice?

        So long as the favicon is animating that is usually an indicator that it's still processing. It will stop when the script has stopped though. I have a similiar issue with importx smiley

          Thanks - Modx doesn't have a favicon when I login? The backend doesn't seem to have one!

              Ha ha OK - This seems to finish almost instantly - I tried a new site with several hundred resources.
              I then opened the SEO Tab in a new browser window, and I can see all the redirects in place already - it took literally seconds. Just a bit disconcerting that the page says "DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW' - just worried something crucial will be left behind!
