SEOPro - Title

Hi,

I have a site which I inherited - and the <title> tag has this:


I don't really understand how the placeholder is to be used - because there is no additional field in the manager for each resource. I have one called [[+seoPro.keywords]] which I can populate manually.

Do I have to add a field for seoPro Title manually - if so, how do I do that?

I've never used seoPro, but I would guess that the seoPro plugin (if activated) will set both of those placeholders for you.

Hmm - it adds a field to the manager for keywords, so you can add those in (not that search engines use keywords!!) but no field for Title. Hence the confusion!

Could it be a TV?

Are any of the titles it uses different from the pagetitle? If not, you could just change the tag to this:

Without the default value of [[*pagetitle]] it uses [[*longtitle]]

That might be configurable in the seoPro properties.

I haven't found anything in system settings.

It might be a property of the plugin. If you edit the plugin, you might see the name of a property set. If so, you could edit it in System -> Property Sets.
