I have a large client site with a lot of product images. The client has put images all over the server. Lots of them. It's a mess. I want to do some housekeeping, but I know that if I move an image I have to re-link each image on any page that is using that image. Given the volume of pages and images this would be very labor intensive.
Is there any cool technique or approach for handling this?
Wouldn't it be cool if there were a mechanism/tool/extra in Modx that would find images that have moved on the server? Just dreaming. . .
I just created such a tool in my head.
Unfortunately, I don't have any time to implement it.
