Silly question, and I do apologize for having so many recently.
I am starting to add more users to all of our MODX sites. I have created members and so on, but is there a way to copy and past these settings so I am not having to repeat all the steps and user parameters on each site. I guess I am just trying to be lazy.
If there's a significant number of users, I usually create a CSV file and write a custom snippet to import them. It's tricky, though, because some of the data goes to the users table (modx_users) and some goes to the User Profile (modx_user_attributes).
If the UserImport package works, that's a much easier solution, but I'd back up the DB by exporting it to a .SQL file in PhpMyAdmin before trying it.
