Moved from shared to dedicated: Manager file manager does not work and some category names are missing

Hello

I moved a Evo site from one server to another (VPS). I uploaded the files and the database but now I cannot add any new pictures and/or see some category names (nor modify them).

I believe this is a permissions issue.

The frontpage works great. Its just the backend.

Is this a files issue....or maybe a database issue?

That's odd.

I made a new user and his changes do get stored. Can I delete the old user, recreate him and be done with with it?
