    Hi,

I’m wondering what would be the quickest or most efficient way to output errors from a plugin. I’m trying to debug a plugin I just implemented.

    Anybody has an idea?

    thx,

Well, I generally stick with the ole’ echo statements - it depends on how much debugging you need to do to be honest and if this is on a development or live site.

One of the things I’ve done on a few recent projects is to start using file-based logging, it’s unobtrusive which means debugging can be done on live sites a lot easier without affecting the frontend of the site for visitors. I think that would especially well for plugins.
