    When an editor role I've created clicks on a container view they get this pop up:
    Error
    Code200 OK
    {"success":false,"message":"Permission denied!","total":0,"data":[],"object":[]}
    They can close it and edit the records as expected.

    Does anyone know which settings are controlling this?

      Actually it appears to be any resource, thought it was just collections but it isn't

        Did you checked if in the editors ACL the "view_template" policy is activated?

          Thanks, this helped me, too. After the last update I had the same problem. The "view_template" policy obviously wasn't needed before (I don't think it was deactivated by the update routine).

            Yes, that is a behaviour that changed. There was a discussion about it on github: https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/issues/13243
