Why no homepage slider add-on?

I just can't figure out why there is no add-on (that is current) for a homepage slider. I mean just about every modern website has a slider, so why are there no add-ons for something that is so common?

Slideshow Manager and Revo slider did not work with my version of MODx (Revo 2.5.7) and I posted this before https://forums.modx.com/thread/85672/problems-with-slideshow-manager where it was suggested I use MIGX but that program looks difficult to me. How is my client who needs to update the slideshow supposed to do this, if I am having a hard time.

Is there a reason, why slideshow add-ons do not exist for MODx? I have to be missing something important here.

There is probably something you are looking for: https://modstore.pro/packages/photos-and-files/mysliderconstructor2

There is also this: https://modx.com/extras/package/slideshowmanager, though I haven't used it. It's based on the Nivo JQuery slider.
