    On the pure html file, the google maps plugin is working fine on my contact page, but when I put it into MODX it doesn't show up. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

      Hi,

      Don't use the "Google Maps plugin", but just add the "Google Maps Embed code" directly into your Template.
      MAybe you need to activate a "Google Maps API" key, which is free.

        Hello yankindeez,

        Try to use a cloud-based plugin to avoid the plugin conflicting with the ModX platform. Here’s one of the better options – https://elfsight.com/google-maps-widget/.

        That’s how you install it:

        1. Create a widget in the editor;
        2. Copy the code;
        3. Install it to the right page.

        I haven’t found a specific guide for ModX, but here are the guides for other CMS - https://elfsight.com/help/product/google-maps/, the installation process is pretty identical for each one.
        I hope this will be of help!
