Ignore a subdirectory

    I’ve tried the following in .htaccess files within the subdirectories I want modx to ignore:

    mod_rewrite off

    RewriteEngine Off

    Any clues as to why these solutions don’t work and keep throwing 404 errors?
      Mostly harmless.
