I've got a strange problem with a recently upgraded site - which has also moved servers/hosting a month ago.
Running MODX 2.5.5 and Gallery 1.7.0-pl on a box with PHP7.
The Gallery extra no longer seems to have permissions to create a new folder under assets/gallery. If I create the folder manually then I can upload images and it all works fine.
I found this line in the error logs: [Gallery] Could not create directory (possibly already exists?).
As I say, it is a new server/hosting company so any thoughts on what the problem might be?

creating the folder manually from within the manager is working or did you create it by ftp?
Created manually in the manager. Which is why it is even more difficult to understand!
