How do I set the Ace editor to VIM as a default

I am using the Ace editor in modx 2.5.5 and I always use the VIM mode. Is there some way that I can set Ace to have VIM as the default?

I figured it out! In the file: assets/components/ace/modx.texteditor.js, I inserted the following lines of code.

88 ace.require("ace/keybindings/vim");
89 this.editor.setKeyboardHandler("ace/keyboard/vim");
90

This worked for me.
