Product gallery

Hello.
I would like to get some help to show a product gallery.
I have created the following structure:

Products
Vases
Yellow
Product1
Product2
...
Red
Product1
...
Plates
...

I have the following ditto call:
[!Ditto? &parents=`74` &depth=`1` &display=`3` &paginate=`1` &sortDir=`ASC` &tpl=`tpl_products` &showPublishedOnly=`1` &debug=`all`!]

I get the output in one single collumn with all the products. What I would like is to have two rows with 3 products in each row. And each product has the image thumbnail of the product. Like this:

PRODUCT 1 PRODUCT 2 PRODUCT 3
PRODUCT 4 PRODUCT 5 PRODUCT 6

I don’t know how to interact ditto with maxigallery.

Does anyone made or knows anything about some similar work?

See this Ditto tutorial on how to achieve what you want - columns. It’s basically an issue of using CSS to float list items generated by Ditto.

You can then style the products page to your heart’s content

I’ve been checking that example but it just helps me making the display structure.

I really don’t know how to show the product image for each product in an automatic way. I mean, I would like to keep using ditto call to list all the products but handle the images with maxigallery. Any tip?

Unfortunately I have never used maxigallery (MG). Am sure someone will come along and give you a definite answer, or pointers...

The only thing I could find was a tutorial in the wiki on how to create a catalogue...this uses other snippets, not ditto...

It’s probably not what you want.... I suggest you search the forums as you wait for a definite answer to your question. If I bump into anything will post here...

(I used the forum’s advanced search - not the google forum search). Seems you can nest an MG call inside a Ditto call.
