    Hi,
I have a slideshow and i am using MIGX to upload and sort images.
I followed this amazing tutorial by Bruno:
    https://docs.modx.com/extras/revo/migx/migx.tutorials/migx.use-resource-specific-mediasource-and-multifile-uploader

The gallery works great and to navigate through my slides i am using the MIGX_id.
The issue is that while sorting the images the MIGX_id sticks to its image and the slides get unordered.
What i would like to do is being able to sort images without loosing the MIGX_id order.
The easiest solution i found is to make the MIGX_id field editable, so the id can be manually update after every image sorting. But it can be quite annoying if you need to change the image order frequently.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have the MIGX_id automatically updated?

the MIGX_id of an item shouldn't be touched. It is the unique id of an item.
If you need a order-number, while iterating at frontend, there is the [[+idx]] - placeholder

you can buy me a beer, if you like MIGX
