    Hello,

    Problems with an old site running Evo - updated the CMS but still problems;

    « MODX Parse Error »
    Error : mysql_query(): No such file or directory
    Error information
    ErrorType[num] WARNING[2]
    File /nfs/c04/h06/mnt/59294/domains/dancerdesign.co.uk/html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(1318) : eval()'d code
    Line 599
    Current Plugin Quick ManagerManager(OnWebPagePrerender)

    MODX v1.2.1 Evoluttion
    Server - Operating System: Debian Squeeze, Apache: 2.2.22
    Database - MySQL: 5.1.66 - PHP 5.6.21

    Any ideas - it's only a small site but it would be good to be able to fix.

    Thanks, David

      Evo 1.2.1 doesn't use the mysql extension anymore, it uses mysqli

      If you can still login, deactivate that plugin - I am sure that "Quick ManagerManager" doesn't exist, but was a hack a long time ago

      You could change the config.inc.php in the manager/includes/ folder, from mysqli to mysql as a temp solution, more info for changing the config.inc can be found here

        Excellent - that worked. Deactivated the Quick Manager, then in config.inc.php changed it from mysqli to mysql as suggested and boom - the site came back to life !

        Many, many thanks. Only a small site and I was planning to cut and paste content into a Revo build - but that has saved me loads of work.

        Best wishes from Liverpool, England ! [ed. note: DavidJColbran last edited this post 9 years, 7 months ago.]
