I am new to MODX Revolution - i am taking over a site that is 2.5.1 - that is running on a server which has an SSL certificate for the site.

I have migrated the site to a new hosting arrangement - although there is no SSL attached to the new hosting as i have yet to change the DNS settings and can only view the site as i have changed the local hosts file as it is effectively a test site until i have addressed any issues

The vast majority of the site works fine, but links on the test site are still pointing at https:// rather than http://. - i have cleared caches - Does anyone have any suggestions?

also - some images are displaying correctly e.g. <img src="/assets/components/phpthumbof/cache/ESCAPE%20in%20the....2b6d0779452c922b49d4b73f4692757e.png"

and some are showing incorrectly e.g. <img src=""> those images that aren't showing correctly are but of sections generated by chunks

    can anyone offer any advice?

Hi, maybe you have https:// configuration in your .htaccess file or in settings of your MODX installation.
