I changed all three of those values to assets/

    Still no love.

    I appreciate your efforts though.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?
Sounds like it’s misconfigured still. For example, here’s my configuration values:

    Resource path: /home/public_html/example.com/assets/
    Resource URL: http://www.example.com/assets/
File Manager Path: /home/public_html/example.com/ (note the File Mgr and Resource Browser aren’t related)

If all else fails, grab the latest SVN trunk and try that one out (pending 0963 release).

Yeh, something sounds screwy with the file path...but you said it better Ryan. The times I’ve had this problem, configuring the file path often fixed it. Besides permission issues that’s what I usually check when having this problem.

sjh_vt: Thanks for pointing out that thread.  I tried the advice in there and didn’t have any luck.

rthrash: Thanks for setting me straight on the proper values for each of those three items.  Unfortunately, my new hosting company (Media Temple) has a different structure than the typical /home/public_html/example.com/  setup that I’m used to.  So when I tried it with the values you suggested, it didn’t work.

However, I managed to make a bit progress...

I dug through the Media Temple client forum and found that if I change the File Manager Path to

        /nfs/c02/h06/mnt/40927/domains/example.com/html/assets/

then I can upload files via the File Manager as usual.  I still can’t insert images using the TinyMCE/FCKEditor combo, but at least I can present my client with a passable workaround solution.
