Hi all,
is it possible to set the time values of date TVs or publish/unpublish dates to 00:00:00 as default (or other values needed)?
It would be more comfortable instead of changing all values manually.
Next try to refresh my question ...
Is there a way to get all date TVs and date fields (published/unpublished) with a default time of 00:00:00? If not: why?
What I want to do: On a travel page I have many travel offers. Each travel date is a child document of travel description doc. Each date doc and all description docs have an unpublishing date set to start date of this travel. This ensures that all travel offers hide from the travel overview if the journey is started. (Who wants to book a travel from yesterday?)
Setting a travel and the dates I get the current time in unpublishing field as default and I must overwrite the time with "0". Otherwise a travel offer set up anytime in the evening gets an unpublishing date also in the evening. If the journey starts at 5 November the offer goes away on 5 november in the evening. Therefore I want to have a date default of "0" (saving some time in setting up offers and preventing errors).
Now I want to know if there is a possibility (maybe hacking the core) to set all date inputs to a default time of "0"?
I think especially "setting unpublished" of documents could be important for other users for press releases, event announcements, travel offers, special product offers and all dates with a defined time of hiding midnight. And it would be nice to get a default instead of "hacking" the output with snippet logic.
