User roles help please

Hello,

1. Is it possible to set up users to edit only certain pages, and create new resources only in certain areas?

2. How do I figure out which version of Modx I'm running?

The spell-checker is in your browser, not the Forum software. If you right-click on it, you should be able to add it to the dictionary, but be aware that the correct spelling is now MODX.

Except for a few versions, the version should be displayed at the upper right or left of the Manager. If it's not, and you are running MODX Revolution, you can see it by going to System -> System Settings and putting settings_version in the search box at the upper right of the grid.
