I have about 1500 documents in 30 folders (car manufacturers and sellers), and when user click, let’s say, Alfa Romeo, I want to show him first document in Alfa Romeo tree.
But, the first one is "Subotica" and not "Aleksinac", so, I need to sort all documents in tree Alfa Romeo alphabetically to show first one to user...
It’s easy with menu index, but all 1500 documents will be a serious job...
Is there a way to sort whole tree in manager alphabetically (automatically assign menu indexes according the first letter of document)?
I know that there is a sort button on the top of manager tree, but it works only one season, after logout and login, everything is like before sorting.
Take a look at www.nov-auto.com for clarification...
Thanx,
Ivan
P.S. is possible to change auto increment of menu index from 1 to 10 or 20, to make more space if I need to put new document between two old ones?

You can use the Doc Manager module to re-sort the document tree.
