Answered Newspublisher rights problem

Dear Bob Ray,

after updating to MODX 2.5.4 I experience the problem with Newspublisher, that ressources cannot be written with the same name again.
So if I already have a document with pagetitle "doc1" another one cannot be written anymore. I didnt experience the problem before updating so I ask for help.

I'm not clear on what's happening. Are you unable to update an existing resource, or are you having trouble creating a new one with the same pagetitle as an existing one?

If it's the second one, I suspect that it's the alias, not the pagetitle that's causing the problem. Check the allow_duplicate_aliases System Setting.
