    Hi,

I recently started trialling Cloudflare (free account for now, to evaluate) because I had one or two DDOS attacks, and also to improve my experience of CDNs.

The front end works very well, but the manager is totally messed up. Every field (pagetitle, introtext etc) is duplicated in the manager, and it seems that anyone can access the manager without logging in!

I added page rules to omit the manager and connectors from the caching like so:

    http://*.mydomain.co.uk/manager/*
    Cache level: bypass

    http://*.mydomain.co.uk/connectors/*
    Cache level: bypass

But I'm wondering if the syntax is wrong?

I've also installed the CloudFlare API Integration 2.1.0-pl extra and have inputted the API keys to purge the cache on saving of resources/template.

Does anyone have any advice when it comes to using Cloudflare with Modx?

The performance improvement from the front end is incredible - but the backend is unusable, so I'm thinking that it's to do with my pagerule settings.

    Thanks in advance!
    Andy

      **UPDATE**
For those of you with a similar problem, the syntax was indeed wrong -

      I changed it to:
      http://www.mydomain.co.uk/manager*
      and
      http://www.mydomain.co.uk/connectors*

      and all seems fine..

      **BUT**

      I have another issue!
I've installed the CloudFlare API Integration 2.1.0-pl extra and have inputted the API keys to purge the cache on saving of resources/template.
But when I hit 'empty cache' in Modx, it just hangs - nothing happens.
I have checked the API key and the email address settings which are required, and all are fine - so I have to manually clear the cache in Cloudflare each time I save a resource - any ideas?

      Thanks!

Also - I cannot 'save' a resource either. it just hangs - I assuem this too is down to the Cloudflare cache plugin not working quite right?
