Mailchimp issue after new revo installation

I get this message after a new 2.5.2 pl installation in mailchimp

modmailchimp/elements/snippets/snippet.modMailchimp.php : 327) PHP warning: Illegal string offset 'tag'

MailChimp just changed their API (again). So that could be your issue.

Looking at the modMailChimp code at Github, I found this message:

modMailchimp is no longer being maintained or supported.

The last update was 5 years ago, so it's quite possible that it just doesn't work with the latest MODX versions.

What did you end up doing?

BTW, I should have mentioned the Notify extra. It sends any kind of email update to users based on their user groups and/or tags.
