Answered [bug] parser error on a should be 404

Attempt to access "mysite/functions.php" or "mysite/functions.php.html" results in a parser error instead of an expected 404 page.

Evolution 1.2 and previous version
PHP Version 5.5.36

Tested on 1.0.15, 1.1 + 1.2 and can not replicate your problem, always get a 404

What other information could I provide? My site is on a shared host.

I just tried a few things on your site - it looks as if it is specific to "functions.php" as everything else caused a 404 or was found

I think you need to post this on Github and ask for help there, but you may find it is specific to your set-up

Is there a "functions.php" in the root of your website ?

No there is not. The reason I noticed this is due to a hacker access attempt.
