    Hello from Berlin
I have upgraded an old Revolution 2.1.1 installation to 2.5.2.
Now my custom image TVs are missing the basePath and baseUrl parameters. I tried to fix that by creating Media Sources with thes basePaths, but for some reason, the Media Sources wont show up in my TVs.

I tested with a newly created TV. The Media Sources drop down does show up and I can select my MS, but after saving the TV they disappear again.

    Any ideas?

    cheers

When you say custom image TVs, they're a TV type you created yourself?
There were some changes in 2.5.2 that affected some global paths... could it be anything to do with this?

        Thanks Murray.
Maybe my bad english ... I mean a Template-Variable with the Type Image and basePath and baseURL parameters set.
I changed the config as in your link, but unfortunately that did not solve the problem.

          Today I'm one step further.
Went back to 2.1.1, upgraded to 2.2.10 and then to 2.5.2.
Now I see the Media Sources in the TVs. I can select whatever in the drop down, save and the selection keeps there.

But the basePath and baseURL specified in the Media Source does not have any affect in the manager or the frontend.
Database, looks okay, the 'modx_media_sources_elements' table contains the ids of the TVs in the 'object' column.

Any idea where I should continue troubleshooting?

          edit:
when I chance the basePath and URL for the Filesystem it does have an effect on all files in the backend, not in the frontend. [ed. note: cu.bus last edited this post 7 years, 5 months ago.]
