So I've been blindly building a website in modx after being tasked with a semi-built framework ( no knowledge of html or css) and I would like to replace the current logo on the website. I have found the file I would like to replace in Files>Filesystem>assets but I have no idea how to go about actually doing it. Can anyone help me? I'm not sure where the actual assigning of the logo (TV?) takes place. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The link for the Logo would most likely be in an img tag in a Template (on the Elements tab in the Manager), though it could be in a TV or a chunk, in that case there would be a TV or chunk tag for it in the Template. If you want it to point another file, you can just change the reference there and save the Template, TV, or Chunk.

If you know the file and would just like to replace it, you can right-click on the folder its in on the Files tab and upload a file with the same name. You might want to back up the file first (by downloading it) if you don't already have a backup copy.

Thank you, I've been searching around but haven't found the image tag yet, and how do I change the reference? Thanks again

It depends on what the img tag looks like. You'll have to find it first anyway, so post it here when you do.

Thanks so much for your help Bob Ray, I was able to find it after looking through the css and redirecting it from there.
