    Hi,

    I have a weighty pdoMenu call which is taking over 13 seconds to load when the resource is uncached.
    I changed form wayfinder to PDO menu, as I heard it was more performant - but I think I need to work on the call!! I used Xbug ti find the culprit (thanks Mark Hamstra!)

    This is what I'm using:
    [[pdoMenu? &startId=`29` &outerTpl=`navShopSideOuter` &rowTpl=`navShopSideRow` &innerTpl=`navShopSideInner` &innerRowTpl=`navShopSideInnerRow` &parentRowTpl=`navShopSideParentRow` &level=`4` ]]

    Any tips on how to optimise this call?
    There are quite a lot of resources called, but shouldn't take this long!

    Thanks
    Andy

      Maybe you can show your chunks as well? Could be something in there as well smiley

        Good point! See below:
        Just realised that this is still using wayfinder tags though - how is this even working?!

        &outerTpl=`navShopSideOuter`
        [[+wf.wrapper]]

        &rowTpl=`navShopSideRow`:
        <li class=" [[+wf.first:notempty=`open`:isempty=``]]">
            <a href="[[+wf.link]]">[[+wf.linktext]]</a><span class="fa fa-plus"></span>
            [[+wf.wrapper]]
        </li>

        &innerTpl=`navShopSideInner`
        <ul class="innermenu">
            [[+wf.wrapper]]
        </ul>

        &innerRowTpl=`navShopSideInnerRow`
        <li>
            <a href="[[+wf.link]]" title="[[+wf.title]]">
                [[+wf.linktext]]
            </a>
            [[+wf.wrapper]]
        </li>

        &parentRowTpl=`navShopSideParentRow`
        <li class="subMenu [[+wf.first:notempty=`open`:isempty=``]]">
            <a href="[[+wf.link]]">[[+wf.linktext]]</a><span class="fa fa-plus"></span>
            [[+wf.wrapper]]
        </li>

          pdoMenu uses wf. as a default prefix for placeholders used in the template chunks

            Ah Ok - so I'm not going crazy!! lol.
            Any ideas what is causing the long load times?
