Pump up the Modx

Hi folks,

Modx is great !

I love Modx, but I really miss more advanced plugins like Wordpress or Drupal provides.
When will Modx upgrade to version 3, with the Symphony framework and loads of external php libraries/plugins available ?

I am really excited about that upgrade, and I figured that as Modx raised sufficient funds now, that much needed new version will be out soon ?

There's a 3.x branch on github, but that does not yet resemble what the ideas for MODX 3 are. The MODX Advisory Board is starting work on defining the roadmap for it, and Jason (opengeek) is working on some of the reworks so things should start getting pumping soon.

If by "raised sufficient funds" you mean the MODX Accessibility project, the money they raised there did not go (to my knowledge) to MODX 3, but towards the accessibility theme. I don't know though, MODX is a lot more than just the company also called MODX, and a large part of development is in the hands of the community.
