linkage

i’ve changed a documentname of a specific document, this document has some sub documents.

whenever i go to the website where i’m having my modx on, and i check the specific link that is on one of the sub documents it still displays the old name of the document.
and i want to give it a another name so that it will display in a shorter link.

can anyone give me some advice on how i am able to perform such a thing.

Clear the site cache. The sub document is probably still reading from cache with the original menu items. And the menus are usually built using the Menu Title field, rather than the page title field.
