MODX Manager for end-user (vs. WP :)

Hi,

I'm inhouse based web-designer and i use MODX in all our Company Sites. I get often negative feedback from site admins, how hard MODX manager is to use. Since Manager is customizable, i take part of the blame to myself. People are always comparing MODX to WP which is ofcourse annoying and how "heavenly" WP is to use. (One part which is always causing me headaches is user permissions).

But anyway...Is there some end user manual(s) online? For the basic Manager stuff.

That's funny, the users I show the system to are so happy with the ease of use. The file tree is just like their "explorer". A few things I do to make it more simple:

1. Hide a lot of stuff like menus, bttn, fields
2. Change descriptons (admintools)
3. Use quickstart bttns

You can create custom Top Menu items fairly easily that will take the users anywhere in the Manager, even to edit a particular Resource.

I'm pretty sure I wrote a blog post on how to do it, but I can't find it.
