MIGX DB Where clause with date

Hi

Hoping someone can help. I am looking at filtering my MIGX CMP results with the where clause.

I have build a simple events calender that has a start and end date in the database. I want to only show events in my CMP that are in the future.

Under Settings->MIGXdb-Settings I have added the following in the "where" text box



This works perfectly as expected, but I obviously want todays date to be dynamic. I have tried creating a snippet called today and using:



My snippet looks like this:



But this doesn't seem to process the snippet. Am I doing something stupid? Or is there a better way to do this?

I also created a cmp to show only future dates but the where-clause isnt working...
