    Hello.
I’m developing a website of a store and right now I’m about to create and catalogue the products.
I would like to know if anyone that went for something similar can help me.

I would like to define a single vista which receives parameter(s) and depending on these will fill its contents.
In another words I would like to have all the products with categories and that single vista would choose the products depending on those categories (dynamic content).

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

    Thks,
    Fanan

Thks sinbad, but I ca’t see how tvExplorer can help me.

Maybe I didn’t explain in the best way.

I have for example 100 products with different categories. Example: each 20 products have a different color and each 20 (not the same 20 as previous) are of a different brand.

What I would like to know is:
        - how can I catalogue all these products (shall I have to create 100 documents?)
        - How can I show them dynamically, which is using the category color and brand. Something that allows me to show yellow products of the brand A.

        Thks,
        Fanan

Yes you will need to add each product as document, use TVs for the details such as colors and brands etc.
check this page for example http://smartsecuritycamera.com/dome-cameras.html , it list using Ditto all documents under my category of Dome Cameras. my ditto call is only [[Ditto? &id=`cam-display` &tpl=`ditto-camera` &display=`all` &sortBy=`pagetitle`!]] , and now every new page I add under the "Dome cameras" will be added to the cameras listing page.

Ditto is the next best thing happened to men after the women, check the wiki and Ditto’s documentations to learn how to unleash it’s power.

your cascading should be category>Product and not the other way around, Now if you have a product that can fit two categories, ie it’s also Samsung brand and it’s also Black color you can use Ditto with tagging and then have the product display both on page with call to the Black tag and also on the page with the Samsung Tag.

hope I got you this time and that I didn’t confused you even more wink
