I need help related to BlogIt and Tagger Extra.
I am generating tags for my articles with Tagger and everything is going well but only one thing is stopping me to make it perfect.
When I click on any tags for that tag's archive, it goes to BlogIt container and show there all the tags.
I want it to show my tag archive in different page, not Blogit's page id.

Like My blogit home page is Magazine page and if i click on nay tag, it goes to magazine layout. i want tags to work like category layout.

eg. blogit container id is 123(home template)and I want my tags to show on id 456(other template).(category/tag archive page)
I searched on Tagger documentation for the output but didn't find my answer.
Help please. [ed. note: Mayanktaker last edited this post 7 years, 3 months ago.]

      • Hi @Mayantaker, sorry for the lack of response. Did you check to make sure the Extras that got installed with the BlogIt Extra are up to date? Also, most people will not recommend using Articles anymore, I'd recommend using Collections and Tagger vs Articles. It takes a bit more to set up teh first time but it's much more flexible and efficient.

In any event, you may wish to look at the documentation for Tagger to see why. I can also post for John Peca to take a look at your response. To get some additional assistance you may wish to ask in the MODX Community Slack.

          Hello Jay,
finally someone responded. Thanks for response.
I am using Blogit Extra which is itself collection of Collections and Tagger and some more extras. Everything is working fine. I just want my Tagger tags links to show in different page.
Suppose I have a magazine layout as home page. I called content with getresources and getpage.
I want that if a Tagger tag to be clicked then the tagged post will go in different layout, not magazine.,

Like in wordpress, category archive page is different and home page is different(can me news/magazine layout).
