Even using alternative search engines like
http://lite.qwant.com, the only browser for Android I can find which doesn't require creating an account on Google Play or the AppStore is the Chinese browser UCBrowser (www.ucweb.com) from Alibaba's group, as well as its "mini" edition, for which the apk can be downloaded directly.
However: In 2015 it was revealed as part of the Snowden leaks that UCBrowser leaks sensitive IMSI, IMEI and MSISDN data, which was used by intelligence agencies to track users.

I read that Mozilla itself financially depends at 86% on Google.

http://firefox.com/m, you're redirected to some page on Mozilla's website.
At the bottom is a small link "Firefox for other languages and platforms".
You can download Firefox without an Android account.
However it is not better than others as for your privacy.
For instance, will track your GPS position.
