Hello all...
I've been using MODX since 2005. About two years ago, I switched from Evo to Revo, pretty much seamlessly.
Now, I'm setting up a new website in 2.5.1, and trying to add a couple of widgets to the dashboard: BackupMODX and UpgradeMODX. Downloaded the packages through the Package Browser, installed from the Package Manager. They installed without error.
Now the issue -- they are not appearing in the Dashboard. Over and over again I see the following phrase in package details: "Just place the widget in the dashboard," or "Simply add the widget to the dashboard." After hours of searching, I find no procedure for "adding" or "placing" or "activating" a widget into the dashboard.
System Settings shows only the News and Security feeds, but neither of the installed packages. I've cleared caches, flushed permission, killed all sessions, cleared my browser history, spent more than 3 hours on Google and the search here at the forums...all to no avail.
How in the heck do you "Just place the widget in the dashboard"?
