    Hello, i wonder if anyone might be able to help. I've installed the latest version of MODx (2.5.1) on a web host via softaculous auto-installer. The MODx installation is on a sub domain until everything is set up and working (trying to integrate a website into it that uses html, css & javascript etc). Once the site is ready the intention is to move the site from the sub domain to the root folder of the main host where the site will run and be live on the web.

    Having quickly set up one of two templates to contain page content, and creating chunks for both the header and footer, i noticed that the home page of the site had a url that ended with /#undefined when i visited it.

    I then thought i should activate friendly urls which i seemed to do successfully and now the url doesn't have /#undefined at the end of it. Problem is, none of the page renders as a result, it's like all the css is missing. I thought this may be down to relative-paths in the system settings which i changed, but now i can't seem to get back to where i was. Am i following the correct steps to build up the site? (firstly on a sub domain and then moving it to the actual host).

      Update, i've just added
      <base href="[[++site_url]]" />
      in the head section of the template and now everything is rendering fine again on the page. but now i'm back to the url ending with /#undefined. (i previously had
      <base href="http://dev.domain.com/new-site" />
      for example, as the base url which did enable good url, but lost all links to css etc by the looks of it)
