Answered Gateway Manager for multiple domains

Hi all,

I'm trying to utilise the gateway manager plugin so that I have different domains pointing to different contexts within the CMS.

I am having a little trouble getting this to work though and I wonder if its more to do with a hosting setup issue. I've tried setting the domains as frame forwarders and also aliases to the primary domain but I've had no luck with either of those options.

Does the domain have to be setup as a hosted domain and then the document root pointed towards the primary domains CMS folder? Or is it ok to have them setup as forwarders or aliases to the primary domain? The former doesn't look to be possible in cpanel/plesk without SSH I'm guessing?

Any help with clarification would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

I've managed to set the domains document route to be the same as the primary domains document root however it's still loading the 'web' context. I've noticed some people have reported some issues on github for Gateway Manager and have also supplied some edited code - I've tried this still with no luck though.

Can anyone confirm that this extra is still working ok with the latest version of MODX?

xrouting is a good plugin to use ContextRouter is also similar, but xrouting also supports different contexts based on subfolders, so it's a bit more flexibe.
