My site starts with a ’splash’ page, with a login form:

Each user has his/her own ’landing’ page which I defined in the User Settings ’Login Home Page’
Often, with no pattern that I can discern, upon logging in, MODx does NOT redirect to the landing page; it just stays at the splash page (with the login form replaced by ’you are logged in as...’)
If user logs out, then logs in a second time, it seems to work.
Hard to test because I cannot recreate the behavior. It seems to happen the FIRST time EVER someone tries to log in ...
Any ideas?

Have you tried your splash page uncached and your snippet call cached?
I will try that!
(So far, it has been BOTH uncached.)
