quip with virtunewsletter subscription

Can we use quip comment email and name for newsletter subscription through virtunewsletter? We need to add a checkbox to subscribe newsletter in the quip comment area and when user adds a comment using email and name and checks the checkbox then user is subscribed as a subscriber in the virtunewsletter. Can we implement this kind of subscription using quip and virtunewsletter?
