    Hello,

When I try and log on to my MODX site, I get the above error message. Does anyone know what this refers to and how it can be resolved? Unfortunately I have no developer knowledge.

    Thanks!

    Joanna

Yes, I did mean the manager - sorry. Unfortunately I can't tell you what version it is, as I can't log in and check - all I can access is the error message!

Have you try to clean the cache ?

I cannot access anything other than the error message unfortunately. I have reported the issue to our developers, who cannot do anything until next week - so was just trying to see if there was anything I could do in the meantime.

siteManager.php is part of Modx Evolution so it looks like there may be a permissions error.

You could try setting the permissions to 755 ( I think it's in assets > Cache ) and then try again but personally I would download the latest version and do a complete upgrade ( after backing everything up ) as it's will fix most other errors that may come up
