    Hi all,

    I’ve installed successfully (I hope) WebLoginPE and SMF Bridge. The authentication works just fine when logging into the website and then the forum, and when logging out of the forum it successfully redirects to the WebLoginPE logout script.

    However, the SMF Forum cookie remains in the clients browser cache so they can then navigate straight to www.domain.com/smf/ and be logged in after logging out of the website.

    I’ve tried to redirect the SMF logout to a page that contains a snippet that trys to manually delete the SMF cookie :
    setcookie('SMFCookie', '', time() - 3600, '/smf/', '.domain.com');

    This does not seem to work, so I have turned on global cookies and set about trying to remove every combination I can think ok of domain / path. I have even tried :
    $myCookieData = $_COOKIE['SMFCookie'];
    setcookie('SMFCookie', $myCookieData, time() - 3600, '/smf/', '.domain.com');

    The cookie is called ’SMFCookie’ and the path of the forum is www.domain.com/smf/. The SMF is version 1.1.5 and Modx is (still) 0.9.6.1.

    This works fine in IE6, IE7 but fails in both Firefox 3 and Chrome.

    Any clues ? (I’ve even tried writing a completely independent .php file just to try to delete this cookie)

    Cheers!
    DK

      I seem to have the same problem. In Firefox I can rarely log in to the site and I can almost never log out. It just returns the same form as if I have simply reloaded the page. The only way I can get to log in is with much Shift Refresh/F5 and clicking between login forms in the sidebar and the main page - eventually it works but it seems unpredictable. I have tried deleting all the session cookies and domain cookies using the Web Developer Toolbar in Firefox, but nothing works.

      IE logs in and out perfectly, which has to be a first!

      Has anyone else had the same issue and how did you resolve it?

      Thanks.
