    Since your hook already uses a separated table for the extended field, you could disable the default extended fields with
    &useExtended=`0`

      This snippet is called through 'prehook UpdateProfile snippet', this info is been stored in my custom table, but is stored too as extended fields, do you know how can I prevent this?
      Thanks for your help.

      Just empty this Field, to prevent it is saved:
      $hook->setValue('hour', NULL);

        You could try ClassExtender, but it might take some effort since your situation is more complex than just a list of extra fields.

        If you got it working, it would make thing much faster (especially searching and sorting).

        Hi, I this part is working, the user availability is been stored in my custom table correctly, the one problem is that is been stored as extended fields too, and this is not necessary, I can't put &useExtended=`0` 'cos I have other user info as extended fields (interests, level, where do you know about us?). I think one solution could be stored all this extra user information in another custom table but maybe you guys know another easy solution.

        Thanks!

          I can't think of anything. Could you store the other data in the same table, since it's all user data?
