Our MODX setup: newest version of MODX at this writing and the newest version of the lingua plugin running on the MODX cloud.

We have a MODX site with English as the primary language and we're adding on 3 additional languages. Here's the challenge: the client is hiring 3 different translators to go into the MODX manager and update each of the languages assigned to them.

Here's what we'd like to accomplish: when the translator logs into MODX, they will be limited to the language assigned to them when they load each Resource. For example, if a MODX manager that has been assigned to translate the site into Japanese logs in, they wouldn't be able to access the English or other languages from the drop down that typically shows up at the top of the page in the MODX manager to allow them to select the other languages (http://files.smashstack.com/17OSt/390vb0Ki). This way we limit them to just their assigned language to add content there if through Form Customization we can define the language option that automatically loads for each Resource that has been assigned to them.

We've read through these 2 links but not finding exactly what we're looking for:

I'm open to even going as far as creating a hack so that when a user logins, we simply use CSS to hide the language drop down select (http://files.smashstack.com/17OSt/390vb0Ki) and just load each Resource with the language they are assigned to. In theory, by using this approach, they can only change fields for their language assigned to them.

Am I approaching this incorrectly or is there a better solution?
