    Hi,

I maybe missing something, but I have created a simple TV, Input Type=Dropdown List Menu, Input Option Values = Ja==nieuws_voorpagina||Nee==empty_chunk, Default Value=Nee, and assigned this to a template.

Now, I’ve assumed that every existing page using this template, will get a TV box with Nee assigned to it. This isn’t the case. It gets the value from the order in which the Option Values list is set, so in this case Ja.

    Is this by design?

The obvious solution is to exchange the Ja||Nee values in the Option Values list, but why do we need a Default value then?

    Thanks.

For the DropDown List Menu, the  format as you know is, option=value. What works is putting the value "part" in the option=value pair as the default value for your TV drop down. So in your case, if you want Nee as the default value in your TV, put empty_chunk in the default value box when creating your TV. The drop down list TV in your template will show Nee as the default. Try it; it works... laugh
