TinyMCE Link list includes unpublished and deleted pages

I have noticed that when using TinyMCE Rich Text Editor and linking to pages, the pages returned in the search includes unpublished pages and worse still deleted pages (with no indication)

So, it is easy to add a link for a page that has been deleted.

Is there a way to change the list so it only included published pages?
